Job Summary:
Summary: The Senior Software QA Engineer position is responsible for contributing to the development of cloud based Vincari Surgical CAPD solution. The major duties of this role are to develop and enhance QA automation suite, assist in issue resolution, end to end validation of the releases and collaboratively work in a scrum team to deliver committed product backlog items.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, develop and document application programs for complex computer systems.
- Develop and enhance automation suite
- Perform end to end validation of releases
- Assist in deployment of releases using Continuous Integration/Continuous Development methodology and framework
- Collaborate with other scrum team members and own tasks for oneself and the team
- Assist in identifying process improvements and application enhancements.
- Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for secure.
Qualifications
Number of Years of Work Experience: 5+
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience as a QA engineer developing and maintaining automation suite
- Solid Experience with automation tool such as Selenium, Cypress framework
- Strong Linux skills with shell scripting knowledge
- Programming experience in a major language is a plus
- Experience with Relation Database Systems (RDBMS)
- Experience with HL7, FHIR for data interface/interoperability in Healthcare
- Proficient understanding OWASP or similar security principles
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, Javascript and CSS
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced agile environment as part of a scrum team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and web services
- Experience working in a cross domain environment involving Java and other Open Source platforms.
- Experience with MS Azure or AWS
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, or Crucible
- Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
